Ralf - this just doesnt work for me... The roses aren't at all
attractive -they look fake - which may just
be the ultra sharpness and harsh light. The buildings need to be sharp
or much more out of focus.

The light wasn't harsh at all.
What you see here is the problem Lightroom is causing to the colours of
my photos taken
For some reason I was expecting a night industrial shot with some
roses somewhere in the frame ;-). I was often told that when
photographing roses one should bring some liquid (water?!) and
sprinkle it lightly on the flowers for extra liveliness... Though I
like it as it is. However, I might sugges

handheld flash to illuminate the rose ;-)
