This lens is capable of really shallow DOF (and on an APS-C sized
sensor). I don't need no steenkin' full frame. These are just some
quick grab shots taken over my afternoon break.

No good. That lens is way too old for digital use!
You must buy something NEW, and

The DOF is indeed very lovely. In fact, Darren, this is example of
excellent photography as it is.
Zos, you don't want this lens (spoken in the same voice as Ben Kenobi
when he and Luke were approaching Mos Eisley cantina)...
No, really - you already have 35-105/3.5 and with a bit of thoughtful

Those look yum... You find the neatest toys, Darren. Also enjoyed your post
about the Kenko Uniplus Tube 25 You make it difficult to keep my LBA in

Excellent use of DOF Darrren. I too love the machine shop pictures -
brings back memories of my first career as a toolroom machinist.

I want one! Nice demonstration of the beauty of the lens--and love the machine

Thanks to Christine, Chris, Christine, and Aahz for the recent
comments. And especially to Aahz for breaking that disturbing string
of respondents in the thread whose name started with "Chris".
