That is definitely worth posting, Frank. It is an interesting image
with a strong sense of focus. I guess that is what they mean by a
"fog bank."

I posted this on my colour photoblog last week, and because it's
technically lacking (noise, purple fringing, etc.) I didn't post it

This is a pond i have shot many times before, but the new owners are

The third doesn't work for me because the three little evergreens in
front lack grace and dignity.

I vote to keep the windsurfer. It's a fantastic detail in a lovely shot.
I think it's great that something occupying so little of the photo is
commanding so much attention. Without it you've got just another picture

Others have asked about the thing in the bottom of the frame - it is a
surfboarder holding the kite to propel him around. He was all over
around the bottom of the bridge while I was there. The ropes were
fairly long so he doesn't show up too much.
I played around some with the saturation/contras
Nice one, Bruce. As someone else commented, a little more
contrast/saturation may help - try playing around with it. Lose the
bird-like thing in the lower center and then there will be more focus on
the boat running under the bridge, which, imo, is an important part of the
pic. Just curious, how
Great shot, Bruce.

What's the blue thing in the right foreground? It's
so clear and so sharp that it seems superimposed on
