Thanks, Rick. When shooting architecture I usually try to minimize
distortion, but there are physical limits on where I can position
myself relative to the building, and then I have to make a compromise
in post (in this case framing vs distortion). Other times I play
around with lines and perspecti
Dramatic, well done conversion.

Attila,
I'll quibble--I prefer the original version; the distortion doesn't bother me.
The absolute blackness of the sky and windows make this a very intriguing shot.

Thanks, Brian. I tried to correct the perspective a bit more. It's a
tight crop now, but I can live with that:

I've also uploaded the corrected version to 1x.com but it takes time

Thanks, John. It's a great tip and will come in very handy to get rid
of those pesky wires. I had to clone out 4 from this image, and it was
a major pain in the butt.

One trick is to take two photos from points 5 to 10 feet apart that are
parallel to the facade of the building & combine them in Photoshop. The
perspective distortion is automatically reduced in the combining. Leave
some extra room on the left of the building from the left position &

I agree. The lighting is very nice but the top of the building slopes
to the right. It should be easy to adjust it up a bit.

Thanks, Bruce. Unfortunately I couldn't stand perfectly parallel to
the building, there were cars in the way. There was significant
distortion and I couldn't reduce it further without loosing part of
the image.
