Thanks, Ann. I don't recall the Tunnel Diner. Was it by one of the tunnels to NYC? which one? I did see the Bader book, several years ago. It made a big impression on me. I think I should see if I can find a copy to purchase, but perhaps I should wait until I have put together my little group

Dan- anther Jersey DIner that bit the dust is the Tunnel Diner... I never got a decent shot of it - it was there one day and gone the next and the parking area got fenced in quickly... I love the light in your shot... just right - great colors... etc I presume you have (or have seen ) John
