Got a few grab shots of Grace in the kitchen when she came home tonight. All
with the K-3 and DA* 16-50. All at ISO 6400, f4.5, 1/1506h, 50 mm. Some
cropping, minimal sharpening. Shot in AWB mode. I have it set to retain some
warmth in tungsten light. Looked a bit warm to me, so I set white bala
Don't look now, Paul, but she's growing up fast! (How is that possible when
we're not getting any older?)
Methinks a bit of noise reduction might benefit these.

It handled the ISO 6400 very well. These don't look too warm on my screen.
Exceptionally cute Grace is becoming a lovely girl.

I don't mind the noise level here. It's no more noticeable than grain on tri-x.
If I wasn't just playing, I would have shot at ISO 3200. Had enough light for
that but was more interested in seeing the high ISO performan

Paul,
In 5 or 10 years, Grace is going to meet the pdml someplace and
find out she has a lot of internet Uncles (and Aunts).
It's wonderful watching her grow up.
