Any experience with this lens? A good one? I'm planning to buy the DA* 16-50/2.8 lens for the K10D in due course. However, I need something wider as well and Pentax doesn't offer a prime lens that is wider than 16mm except for the 14/2.8 which is too close to the 16mm to make much sense. Hence,

I can't say for sure if the DA 14/2.8 is sharper than the DA 12-24, although I expect it would be, at least at f4. However, based on images I've seen, I think the DA 12-24 is better corrected. It seems to have a bit less barrel distortion. But again, that's based on inconclusive evidence.
