I've been through the matted photos in a box scenario. The problems
are that they are not the easiest thing to view and hold, and they wear
and the mattes get dirty with bent corners.
So I finally decided on a leather zip-up case from Light
Impressions. I was worried about the acetate o
tom,
I use albums from that I get from Porters. The reasons I like them
are: They look nice, relatively inexpensive, hold 8 X 12 or 8 X 10's,
there is no glass or plastic in front of the image to diminish the
impact. Here is a description:
