The new 28-105 tested in Pop Photo to be weaker than the 24-90 (which I've used and regard as a good lens). This is reflected in the prices of the two lenses. The old PZ 28-105 is universally regarded as an exceptional lens. I have two of them. Joe

I currently own the older power zoom model. I am thinking of replacing it with the newer 28-105. I am planning on replacing an older PZ model camera with either an ZX-L or the new *ist (if I can use K mount lenses with out issue) and was thinking it would be nice to have a faster more compact
