I had never photographed through this particular lens, so I apologize
for not noticing it/mentioning it. I was under the impression that the
radioactive element was only used in the Super Tak versions of this,
but apparently I was mistaken.

I have used a small 18" blacklight to clear up yellowed supertaks
and smc taks in the past. Just sit them right on the bulb and wait
about a month or two.
