What Pentax glass does this fit? A* 300/2.8? FA* 250-600/5.6?
If so, then I believe I'm interested.

I bought my PZ-1p for $325USD on Ebay in mint/mint condition with original
box and manual over a year ago. It was a replacement Pentax had sent the

it worked. From all appearances it seems to be as he said. This seller

I remember the going prices for mint Z-1p were like CA$4xx recently on eBay.
I thought they would worth a little more as well, but obviously the digital

Hi, Mark,
I already have a PZ-1p, or I'd be quite interested. Have there really
been no takers so far at that price? I briefly put my PZ-1p (EX+)
plus grip strap up for sale for $425 when I was considering switching
to the MZ-S. I had no takers, and eventually decided I'd rather keep
the PZ-1p
I think that this would be a very fine lens for *ist-D
nature photography! I would be tempted except that I already
have a 300mm...
I think you overestimate the variability of light in a
typical nature photography scene. You really don't need to
be constantly adjusting the aperature/speed/ISO
Let me know when you want to sell it. :-)

It's unfortunate that I'm not in the market for a Z-1p right now --
especially
since I *have* a spare plug for the remote release cable :-)

Nope, it's not quick release. According to B&H, it fits any Bogen
tripod. It was too big to work with my monopod; that's why I'm selling
it.

I use the A version on my *ist D and I really like this. What's funny
is that the image in the viewfinder appears almost exactly life size,
i.e., one eye in the viewfinder and one open to the world get the same
image.

This is gettin' out of hand cotty!!
If I didn't already have the 100-300, I would jump at this - I debated
long and hard between them! You don't have the 1.4* convertor for it do
you? I would buy that.

Yes, the original finder is a non-metering prism. I just did a coverage
comparison: They're identical. I focused on a paned window and marked the
edge of frame with duct tape. There is no difference between the two
finders. Both are the 6x7 variants The TTL is probably older than the

FOR $202?? Wow. Good score.
I bought my 67 new, and the brassing pattern I've noticed from my daily
use is about what you describe: around the door and at the top of the
prism.

Yep, MLU and a standard finder. It was a no-reserve auction that was
ignored for some reason. I stumbled across it one night when it had just
three minutes to go, and it was at $163. The photos of the camera made it
look pretty scrufty, but in truth, it's quite nice with just paint missing
