Interesting group of photos. Really like the first one, also like the cornice.
But I was very put off by the display tech

Mark,
It's sad what I'm missing by not being more connected to SVPAC. Their
sponsored PS learning workshops, for example, would obviously be time
well spent.

Hi Mark,
I thought these shots were absolutely
captivating.
Two comments:
First, the results are superb but I wondered why
you didn't just use black and white film?
Second, I found the site difficult to navigate as
the lower bar with the thumbnails changed length

Much better. The thumbnails are too big and distract from the displayed pic.
Lovely shots.

Pics are nice but that's the worst method of display I've ever come
across. There was no way for me to scroll down on the vertical pics (Mac

All,
Thanks for the feedback (both positive and negative). The digital lith
process that I use is loosely based on the one described here:
http://www.pauck.de/marco/photo/lith/digital_lith/digital_lith.html
It accentuates grain and brings out a "crunchy" look that I really
like--very textured.
The photos are very good, the gallery is too clever by half.

Mark,
Are you a fellow Viewpoint (SVPAC) member?
I've never made the annual Gladden McBean shoot.
Second pano quite blown out across the wall.
All 35's show considerable grain resulting from the use 400 ISO. Rather
a 'hot' print film, but UC (100 ISO) is my favorite.
Grain can, of course, be inten
I'm sure the pics are nice. Having to deal with flash and all the fancy
stuff you've put into the site makes it slow to load on a dialup connection
and difficult to navigate. What's the point of all the fancy frills and
the bells and whistles just to show a few pictures? They do not enhance
