Hi!
Frankie does macro!
Whoa!
So, this is a lot harder than I thought. This is the best macro of my
day shooting at the Tulip Festival in Ottawa last week. I now realize

I would have said 'welcome to my world' but I think I'll save that
comment for when you start shooting at 1:1 magnificatio

Holy crap.
I hate you Frank
I consider myself a bug and flower guy, I'd be well chuffed with
myself if I had taken that.
As Paul said it's in focus where it needs to be, but the background is
truly "Theriaultian" :-)
Great effort for your first time at bat.

Thanks, Peter.
I found getting the focus right when the dof is so narrow, and the
wind is blowing the tulips about to be very frustrating. In f

Frank,
Something is wrong with your vision. The tulip is IN focus!
I can even see little water drops on it.
Makes me want to reach out and touch it.
The remaining tulips are hansomely out of focus. Very nice.
My only suggestions...
I'd like to get that back tulip not to overlap the front, in f
It looks to me like you did a fairly decent job. I like it. The focus
is where it needs to be.

Is that a good thin
Frank,
it looks like you are inventing a new technique - painting with OOF. Hell,
it looks you took a very uncharacteristically sharp photo of a black tulip
in front of a painting (aquarelle perhaps) of black tulips.
