Really like this one Paul.
I like how it moves from light-gray-black.
The lines are eye grabbing aswell.

Thanks Dave. I'm becoming a fan of the point and shoot as an everyday pocket
cam. Of course it's useless with anything that moves due to shutter delay.

I have a Canon Elph 410. It's a 4 megapixel camera and is slightly smaller than
a pack of cigarettes. I bought it when my daughter went to Provence for a
summer study program. It was on sale at Costco at the time, and I was looking
for the cheapest solution. I think I paid about $220 for it.

I agree. However, the burner delay is somewhat predictable. I was trying to
photograph my grand daughter last night with the point and shoot. She darts

No. I've never been in a hot air balloon. But I've seen them on TV:-).
Seriously, it seems like something that would be fairly predictable, since
the volume of the balloon is a given, the ambient
LOL Pentax has a camera with a pet mode which is designed to allow
better results with fast moving subjects that dart around.

I like the dark tones and contrast, the interaction of the stairwell
and window geometries with the natural world outside. I don't think
the tilt adds anything ... I'd like it more without that.

Hi Godfrey,
Thanks for the comment. I employed the tilt in order to achieve a more
interesting composition. I couldn't seem to get a nice interaction between the
railing supports and window frame without the tilt.

Thanks Scott and Mark. This is another shot I grabbed with the 4
megapixel Canon Elph.410 It fits in my shirtpocket, so it's handy for
those times when I can't be encumbered with a camera.
