It looks like it's a leaf hanging from a branch that's much closer to
the camera than Shel and his 4x4.

I just did - actually, did it in Irfanview using their lossless JPEG
plug-in. But I'd like to make a good scan anyway, and make a nice, quality
print for my personal use.

It looks like my friend sent the pic reversed. I'll have to ask for
the negative and do a good scan. Now that I think about it, the spare
tire, seen in the bed of the truck, was actually on the "other" side.

I now notice that the pic had been flipped. I also know a lot more about

Hi Paul, No I couldn't dig out. There was a spring under the road, and the

dirt road that can be seen behind the truck, and a walk of a couple of
miles got me to a small cabin that had a phone. I called a towing service

In truth, it's not all that bad a shot:-). So were you able to dig out? I would
consider that a victory rather than a defeat.

That reminds me of my younger brother when he first bought a 4x4. He
took his 3 boys out for a drive in it. When he saw a huge pile of road
grit in a layby he yelled "Let's go off-road, boys" and promptly
grounded himself on the apex of the grit pile, with all 4 wheels
spinning in the air. He had t
Hmmm, mirror image? Look at Dodge on the hood and the steering wheel.
Fun story.
