Yeah I know ;)
It seems Pentax indeed communicates in pixel sizes when the others
give points (3 times more). Some comments do also point to a high-res
screen so I suppose it is indeed a high res one.

I agree! Have to admit, as much as it offers, I'm a bit disappointed
there isn't a 5-6 fps burst rate option at a practical file size. RATS!

Very impressive camera. If it had that, I'd pay to upgrade

They advertise 230.000 but it seems Pentax doesn't count the same way
as others so we'll have to wait for reviews or first hand experience
to know exactly.

Apparently, I won't have to buy a new battery grip, and it has a PC socket.

Once you've used it and seen the results, the weight becomes a non-issue. Price?
Well, it's a non-issue *after* you've bought it
Popular Photography changed the SQF system recently and scores from past
tests are not comparable with the new system - I don't remember when the 35
f2 was tested, but I think that the scores from it and the 31 LTD are on
two different scales. The new system was meant to be more stringent.

Popular Photography never says that an advertiser's lenses are bad.
Still, the writer seemed especially effusive in praising the 31. I go by
the numbers in their MTF tests. According to these numbers, the lens is
consistently sharp at

Just some pointless and meaningless comments, nothing haven't been said
before.
