Some interesting dialog on Scanners here. Just thought I would share my
perspective.
I have an older HP Photosmart S20. It has been out of production for several
years and I had not used it for awhile, until I got my new desktop computer
last year. It has XP Pro, and as I was hooking up the scan

Gee, make me feel old! I was 35 at the time. My lovely bride looks just the
same today I ain't saying what I look like :-)

Yeah, easy enough for you to say... I almost got fired from a job as a
color printer shortly after I retired from the Navy. It seems everything I
put out was about 15 to 20 M! I was called "the guy with rose colored
glass
Not a bad scan.
