The 35/3.5 Super Tak is superb as well, but it doesn't have the latest coatings that the Super-Multi-Coated or SMC K versions boast.. Any SMC or Super-Multi-Coated Takumar is a superb lens. Wonderful on a Spotmatic, Spotmatic F, ES or ES2. Nice on a "D" as well with stop down metering. Whic

Never really liked this style of knurled control ring much. It is identical to the original Nikkors that my Nikon F came with. I prefer the knurled control rings on the Nikkor AI-S lenses, and think they're nicer looking. But this is just a matter of aesthetics and does not influence opera
