Interesting to see a mercury thermometer. We had 28 on Wednesday which was very pleasant. The reports are talking about a massive El Niño this year so the east of NZ is in for a bit of a scorcher. Don't think we'll get anything near that though, but to be honest I wouldn't mind a day or two
