Hi all, Happy Monday. What do you make of this... Shooting at my daughter's gymnastics meet yesterday, I noticed my battery was starting to get low. I had an extra in my bag, so I switched it out. I took a shot, and then all kinds of clicking started to happen. It wasn't taking pics on its o

Christine N, I gotta ask, was the replacement battery fully charged? Charge the original and the replacement and then try this again. Any K-5 issues I've had were resolved by fully charged batteries. (Not counting the 6 AA's I used for a while in the battery grip - very weak energy source.) (Autofo

My problem was that when I'd try to take a picture it would turn off, but yours sounds like a more common problem. In any case if it's not a battery, it's probably a power supply. Contact Pentax, or CRIS and see if you can get things lined up before sending it in. Christine Nielsen wrote: >H
