Third party screw mount to k-mount adapters

I've heard some of the third party adapters cause a problem removing them from the camera. What's been the experience of M42 users on the list? What appears to be the cause of the problem on these? -p -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net

I have a Roxsen m42-K. Works, allows infinity focus but you need a tool they provide to put it on or off the camera. I hear the OEM pentax one can be put on and off by finger pressure. Get the official Pentax one if you can find it. On 5/26/07, Paul Sorenson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I've heard

I had problems removing mine from the camera, even with the supplied tool. I think the problem lies with the little springy tab that is supposed to prevent the adapter from moving when you unscrew the lens. Removing the spring should might be a solution, I've not tried it yet though.
