Hi all. I just wanted to post a follow-up message about the recent thread on the FA*
300/4.5, that eventually pointed to a site in the UK that apparently makes tripod

Canon makes a tripod ring in three sizes for EOS; one may fit.
Someone mentioned that he bought the tripod mount for the 200/4 ED Macro from Pentax
Canada and it worked great on the 300/4.5 FA.

He may be talking about the one Bogen (makers of the tripod of same name)
makes. It's a general purpose one for about that price...
