The lens (A 28mm f2.8) has enough barrel protruding to mount the hood without a
filter, but the circular clamp on the Hama M5
Bob is quite right: The HAMA, like any rectangular hood, is not designed
for lenses that use a rototing front element.
HAMA markets the hood for focal lengths from 24mm through 35mm.It is
probably only marginally useful at reducing flare at the 35mm setting, but
it does serve to protect the lens.
