I used to carry a Hassy 500CM + 2 backs + 2 lenses + tripod on my
motorcycle. It didn't care too much, but perhaps my friend's
motorcycle was envious: it had to haul a 5x7 camera, box of film
holders, tripod, etc. ];-)

The transparencies from some of your mountain rides would be spectacular,

no photos, just a small story... :-))
there's a camera repair guy near my workplace who does everything from
small point and shoots to nikon d200s. since he has been at it for long,
he also has a large customer base and his camera repair shop also serves
as an unofficial sell-buy hub.
