Thanks for the help, guys. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be an M42 to "K" adapter. Several M42 lenses thread into it effortlessly, it just doesn't mate up to a "k" mount body. It looks perfect but it's probably just junk. Anyway, I found "K" adapters on B&H, but none of them seem to be genui
