I've an opportunity to buy a K50/1.2 lens, supposedly good condition.
Was thinking it might be nice to experiment with.
What do these go for? Need to make a fair offer.

There is no such thing as an m-series 50mm F1.2 lens, only K & A
series were made. It was too big to qualify as an "M" size lens

I recently bought an SMC-A 50/1.2 for about $450. Excellent
condition, could have been sold as "NIB."
Given the condition of my lens, and given it is an A version, I would
not expect to pay more than $350 max for the K version, and that
would be for one with no signs of use...

right, but none of them are marked "smc pentax-m" like all the other
true "m" series

Been too busy to deal with email very much the past few days.
Thanks for the info on the lens valuation. It's too pricey for my
interest or need, so I've recommended the owner sell it through Ebay
if he decides to sell it. I'll let you know if he does.
