equivalent in VB.Net or elase can we use
I know IIS pretty well... permissions are always an item of discussion when
new apps or virtual directories get implemented. And it is really quite
simple once you think about it.
When IIS is installed, an IUSER_XYZ, (XYZ is the server name) account is
created, this account is basically the Anon
A .dll would probably be more efficient than leaving a process executing in
the background, or even a stored procedure...
It has been my experience that any process left hanging ~might~ leave a

Hmm... ZoneAlarm Pro catches all .pif attachments
and quarantines them. Very nice personal firewall.

You can't just change the extension without changing the extension map in
the Internet Service Manager too. Right click on the web site you need to
edit. Under the Home Directory tab, select Configuration, Add the extension

Wow, this is really great, it even has source code so you can make mods if
needed... Now, using ASPExec, run the .exe, save the results to a text file,
parse the text file, post the results in my .asp page...
Just thinking outloud... ;-)

You don't need Oracle installed on your machine, just the ODBC driver,
install the MDAC version 2.6 and it will be installed. Or you can visit
Oracle on-line for the latest ODBC/ADO drivers.

Sorry, but as far as I know, and I have been doing this a long time, the
serial number of a computer is not stored in and BIOS or memory location.
If you mean IP address then thats different...
