Geez, do you know how uncomfortable it's making me to see my name in the
subject lines of dozens of messages?
At the risk of ruffling more feathers, I'd like to state for the record that
my mail program (Outlook) was set to send plain text _before_ I sent the
message that triggered all this traff

I have the other problem: colored backgrounds. I'm on Dell's email mailing
list. I periodically get email that is navy blue letters on dark blue
background. [sigh...]

terrible, illegible, on both. I mean, HTML mail in
this context has little going for it, but when it
