I know this is off the list, but I am pretty sure that some of you might
figure it out and give me some clues as what am I doing wrong.
I get the eror ksh: send_email: cannot execute
sendmail is in /usr/sbin
I changed the first line to reflect that, but still I get the error.
I created the script and I am trying to execute the script. So I have the
rwx permissions on the script.
I did chmod 700 *.

I'd check permissions on the directory. Likely you're not running
Should be fairly simple...
You can split it using the space concept...
($p1,$p2,$p3,$p4,$p5,$p6,$p7,$p8) = split(/\s+/,$_);
So $p5 has the fifth element and you can do what ever you want with that.
Or you can use the array (@arr_extract) and do the same.
