the scale is missing – but as tony mentioned, there is a silverfish on your
trap.
if you work at a library or archive I would be very concerned – because it
looks like an Ctenolepisma longicaudatum
a great threat to paper objects…

wondering things.
For me, this pellet don´t looks like normal excrements from wood boring insects
like anobium punctatum or lyctus brunneus.
Maybe you are right with “adhesive plugs”, whatever. Microscope upgrade will
be great.
