hi when i give the postmaster -D option it gives the error below. although i can start post master through pg_ctl command. but when i connect it through jdbc it gives whether your postmaster is running with -i option. i can't give -i option in pg_ctl. $ /usr/bin/postmaster -D

hi while Creating a database cluster postgressql it just hangs. i'm using these command on cygwin. i gave the command ./configure make make install make install-all-headers all above are sucessful. after that i set the environmental path in profile. now i give initdb -D /usr/local/pgsql/data
