single trip to the database,by creating rules/triggers
using postgres 8.4 if possible please help me how can i insert the data

After successful installation of Postgressql,
when i type the command psql
i am getting this error.
Connection to database 'prinson' failed.
connectDB() -- connect() failed: Connection refused
Is the postmaster running at 'localhost' and accepting connections on
Unix socket '5432'?
