Hi Stef,
I believe you have already done this, so nothing more needs to be
done. In fact I did the VMMaker changes, Mantis bug report, and Squeak
trunk fixes all based on the cleanup that you did for Pharo :)
If you need to double check this, the change set with all of the
methods that got moved
I recive this error (DNU Object>>coerceTo: sim:) on latest VMMaker

I'm sorry, I did not read your original posting carefully enough. The
classes that implement coerceTo:sim: are Integer, Array, Bitmap, CArray,
and CObjectAccessor. So I do not know what the problem is in this case.
Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Andrey,
I once made the interpreter simulator work in 3.9 and posted my
changes to http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=6555
In there I fixed the method that you are missing as follows:
!ByteSymbol methodsFor: '*VMMaker' stamp: 'al 7/23/2007 10:17'!
coerceTo: cTypeString sim: interpreter
coloredPointClass classVarNames
returns a set
while
coloredPointClass instanceVariableNames
returns an array
Yeah regularity a la Smalltalk

I also updated the January era Pharo image to the latest image.

Well, both are collections.
The order of instance variables is essential for compiling code.
Does the order of class variable names matter ?

I do not know if the order of class variable is relevant.
Now I found that a bad design to have that different types.
Regularity is a value because it favors simplicity.
For example I cannot use the same protocol for both tests.

Hello all,
Is there a correct place to start for a Pharo VM? I do not have a mac; Linux
is of interest and Windows is currently an obligation born of inertia. So far,
I have found mentions of the need to put the sources in a conspicuous location,
but I have yet to find whether that has happen
