I haven't been followi ng this thread, becauise I have been hospitalized
for a week.
I've had this happen with a vintage car. The lesson I learned, was to go to
the seller, pay for the item, and take it home. I have never, since the
car deal, left the item with the seller, whether it was paid
I bought my first cylinder machine under that kind of pressure. I was looking
it over for five minutes, being new to the hobby, and some guy next to me
pointed to it and asked the seller how much for that phonograph? and I said
I'll take it.

It was tough, because I agreed to buy it on a Tuesday, but San Clemente is
almost three hours away so I couldn't drive there til the weekend. She emailed
me Friday night with the bad news.

Here's a Brunswick console from probably the 19 20's that is worth looking
into..?

Wow, and with all those records from the 1800s too!! You better snap it up!
Every Brunswick I've come across has had an extremely quite and smooth running
motor. Anyone know what their secret was? A special grease formulation?

Hello all
I seem to remember hearing about a needle manufacturer in the US that still
makes them and has for decades..anyone remember who it is? I am seeking to buy
needles wholesale.
Thanks
