Bug description: No newline operation in error_log()
I have been trying to use newline operators and tabs in the error_log()
function but for some reason they are treated a
ion_start();
As reported in bug #18587 doesn't work with PHP 4.2.1. A cookies is
generated and carried by the browser, which isn't supposed to happen...
Any solutions, workarounds?

I've just finished installing gd-1.8.4 and php 4.2.0 on Redhat linux.
