Hi!
I looked into the build-hu.log to investigate,
why our autogenerated docs are so old (may 14!!!).
I thought that it must be some problem in the xml files.
But:

Hi!
Do anybody owns PDF files we can upload to the docs
dir? Maybe we can populate them as the chms files (in
the distributions directory).
We should be able to host pdf dowloads on all mirrors.

OK. :) Are you XSLT ready? Perhaps I can speed up
the generation, by using

Hello,
I just set up an automated build process for the CHM manuals. If this
works out fine, I'm able to build the CHM manuals every week or so. It's a
start and forget script.

Hi!
Now I have changed them to a shorter form (middle
part of the RFC format). Hope it wont cause flames
about how we write the dates... :)

No, no. It will take me at least a week or two to
generate a relly nice new fancy manual. Please update.

Hi!
Do anybody know any PDF generator other than FOP
to do the xml -> PDF conversion?
Also do we use Sablot for the XSLT transformations?

Hello Derick,
if you have the time to do all langs, pls. do it, because my free time is
too tough this weekend to do all langs. And since I have insufficient Karma,
sending 16 Megs (8 x ~ 2M) detoured makes no sense (till you've downloaded

Hello Goba, all,
I make them regularly, but how can I update them?
Is there a upload-dir, should I provide a download-link
(like currently http://www.t0.or.at/~sunny/php/, but that's

I believe that the PDF and CHM version of the module always lag behind due to the
amount of work it takes to package them up.

These files are all in CVS, in the phpweb module. So if you have CVS
access, you can commit them. You can always ask somebody else to commit
them of course, I'd be happy to do that.

Certainly :). But on mirrors it still gives the old warning, I suppose? (as
it should be)

Are you building them, or should I build them? I'm at the point of making

Hi!
I have many plans about improving the CHM files
much more ;) They are now the best solution to
use on Windows systems, but will be even better :)
I am planning to improve the fancy style, and
make it a standard (instead of the plain style).
Hope I can commit some of my improvements this
