Hello,
I have been looking into how the compression for
plucker could be improved. And here are some
numbers...
I have a plucker document with about 1600 html pages,
they range from 1k - 37k. The vast majority are
between 2k - 10k.
Various compression techniques:
1. Total Raw Bytes 8Mb.
2. Total
OK, will do. Since this will mean implementing a function to move the
selector to an arbitrary position, I'll also add support for the
SELECT_GO_TO_(TOP/BOTTOM) actions to the libraryform, too.

It's pretty obvious to me (and explained in the source code), so I'm
not sure what more to explain.

Most of the transliterations are obvious, except the Greek one (and my
choices for some non-alphabetic symbols in the 12

Could someone explain to me how the metadata record and UID numbering works?
What would need to happen to insert additional metadata records for
annotations and an annotation index? Alex

Currently, whenever the metadata format is updated, the old metadata is
wiped. I wonder if we could keep separate version numbers for bookmark
data (and annotations, once these appear), so that these wouldn't be lost
on a metadata update.

When I have green background, and the line starts with
lowercase "l", the letter is almost invisible, being right
at the border. Sigh.

My NX has the border, too.
Ordinary PalmOS fonts generated by fontconv or toplucker.tcl work just fine
with a colored background, I think.

About the border around the text. Isn't it there in all apps?

These are some notes (and some complaints and wishlist :-)) about
plucker, mostly from user perspective.
Much of it is Palm Tungsten C specific, since that is the device I use.
First, Tungsten C has very bright backlight. While it is OK in direct
sun, it virutally burns my eyes everywhere else, an
Has anyone successfully built Plucker Desktop on a current Unix or
Linux system with wx 2.2 or 2.4? I'm trying to figure out exactly what the
build environment is. It looks like wx is trying to include headers for a
completely different arch than it should be, and I'm thinking that wx is
