This is where resellers come in. They get dedicated servers from known
providers (100~1k+USD/mo) then use this as their webhosting server for
webhosting services(3-10USD/mo). You can even get VPS for as low as
20USD and use this instead.

Multi master replication apparently did the trick, still under observation
though.

You can't compare DSL and T1, DSL in the Philippine sucks, and if I were you
I suggest not to make the shift unless of course you want to lose those

servers, they'll have less bandwidth to transmit with.
One alternative is to get one or more Virtual Private Servers. For the amount

Greg,
It may be better for you to just get a reseller web hosting plan or
coloc a server. When moving to coloc, consider other things like IP
allocation, network layout of your existing network. You may loose
some/all public IP addresses you currently have.

Hi Greg,
You cant really compare services by "raw" DSL "sticker speed" vs T1
equivalent.
Try to get "real" CIR numbers from your current provider and the prospective
ones then compare based on those. Also check on Throughput capsthey may
impose on you.
BTW, what's stopping you from using outsour
Only Bayan and Globe telcos are operating in our area. Currently we are
hosting 43 or more websites with a T1 connection from Globe at 36,000/month.
My question can we do it (hosting 43 plus websites) with DSL with the same
download & upload performance as our T1, let us say: a Bayan Business plan
