I know that Eric's post has a tad of humour attached to it but whilst I
think it is a good idea at the moment, the fact that we need to recognize
the shortcomings of Linux is also important for the newbies here. We are not
supporting Linux as an end-all OS without issues (each OS has its quirks) so
