I have been prompted to examine my system in detail since getting errors of
unknown causes (See Desktop failure thread). A few messages flash on the
terminal as I shut down. They go by too fast to read without the
assistance of a video camera. A few of the messages are:
"* Stopping save kernel
Just a note so you know - that again because of family, (Brother in law
this time) I'll at best be late. If I miss totally, it's because my
bronchitus has actually turned onto whooping cough ( heading to Urgent care
as soon as my wife gets here whth the better car), it really sounds
different this
