When you think Slack, think Yahoo Groups
I've used Slack too - sometimes it is useful(like them bots), sometimes not. I
wouldn't depend on it, same goes for Discourse
For PLUG, it should be something free - as in speech, beer too if lucky

to nonprofits ala PLUG (I think) if under 250 users. Not sure how many
