For those of you here on the list who have subscribed to Youtube TV can you
comment on what equipment you are using? I read earlier today that
effective Jan 1, 2018 Youtube was cutting all access from Amazon Fire
devices which eliminates a device I already have. have they rolled out the
Youtube TV
I just picked up a Roku and it does Youtube and Amazon Prime.

I just picked up a Roku device for $29 at Walmart. It has "Youtube" but
I don't know if that is different from "Youtube TV" and I don't recall
seeing "Youtube TV" as an app. Are they one and the same app?

Yup, YouTube TV is a separate app and not yet available for Roku. Looks
like Google only has a limited number of supported devices for YouTube TV
at this time.

I've got a Chromecast for my YouTube TV. I had an original version but
after my first month, Google sent me a new version for free (not sure what
the basis was for that) I'll point out that except for a bit of lag when I
started a show I had **zero** issues with my original Chromecast. B
where'd you get it from?
