I use gaim as yahoo, msn & irc client. Many times gaim wont connect to
irc server returning an "read error".
In the same time period , under windows, mirc does connect without any
trouble. What is the "read error"? and how can I fix it?
There is no specific time pattern as far as being able to conn
I use fedora 6 and I have tried mondo for data backup. It worked fine
with me. Eventhough the data was substantially more than the capacity of
one DVD it was not a problem since mondo divided the backup on
mulitiple disks and propted to insert the second blank DVD when the
first one was fully util
I have a fedora 6 system connected to tata indicom broadband
connection.I have another laptop running windows xp which is connected
through a realtek card to the base system.
I run squid proxy, and firefox and IE are running fine on the laptop.
But i could not connect yahoo messnger and msn live th
is there any software/utility similar to Norton Ghost by means of which
I can backup the complete system?

On my desktop, I have installed fedora. I have logitec optical mouse.
Many a times the mouse behave erratic . The cursor moves without any
logic to any part of the screen. Can there be any specific cause for
this? The system is new and hence the chances of hardware failure appear
to be less.
