When I was installing Mageia 6.1 why should grub use kernel of Mint lying in /boot directory preferentially? It is for Mageia's core owners' team to address such questions themselves before making choices of abandoning the Old faithful (in this case LILO) in favour of noise making biased

When it comes to activating networking via wired or WiFi Mageia mostly does it towards the end of install and reduces chances of recovery... CentOS as well as Linux Mint allow activation of WiFi/net before proceeding with (even partitioning) install and it ensures a better approach to install.
