If you are prepared to install some other bits we may be able to get to
extra info. I do the development with the the following setup:
1. Run slimserver via perl rather than slim.exe. This involves getting
perl from http://www.perl.com/
2. Change slimserver-convert.conf to use the #DEBUGPIP

Is there anyway to figure out what is happening to socketwrapper and/or
wmadec - to see if they are indeed being killed by something or just
dying on their own?

Sorry about the delayed response! I have just cleared out Slimserver and
done a completely clean re-install. Then I couldn't get slim to start -
It would just hang on the "loading" screen. Anyway, seems OK now. Here
is a dump with the d_plugins option set. Let me know if you need
anything else. BT

The web interface settings have very much the same controls. In fact, MMM is
probably more flexible at that point. the player UI does not yet allow for
altering those
I poked around the forums of both MMM and Moodlogic before making my
choice. It appears that there were quite a few people unhappy that the
Moodlogic software had not been updated in quite a while and bugs were
not getting fixed. Also Moodlogic had this "credits for songs
analyzed" thing that so
