saved the unzipped contents in the plugins folder of my SlimServer
folder in C:/Program Files.

Has anyone set up this plug in to work on Linux? It seems to browse OK,
pulls back my presets, etc, but when I try and play a stream the
slimserver process dies. No messages show up in /var/log/messages, and
I'm not sure how to debug the perl file any further to know where the
error is happening.
Having a similar problem here.. JVC mini system is an FS-2000.
I tried captured codes as well as a file that seemed to match that

When I looked at the remote and the emitter with my camera, the remote
looked much brighter (even though the batteries are years old)...

Anyone looking at controlling something like the Hauppauge DVB-T cards?
Would the Tuner plugin be a suitable starting point?
Thanks chaps

Softsqueeze itself can't: it doesn't even know the names of files. And
in my case isn't even on the same machine as the files.
In theory, Slimserver -could-, but especially on Unix it's pretty easy
to set permissions so that the 'slimserv' user can't write to the
music. Don't run anything as ro

Hi Glen
You don't need to put the html files into a special location. Just put
the complete IRBlaster directory into your Plugins directory. Just like
this:
Code:
Plugins
|- IRBlaster
|- Plugin.pm
|- slim.conf
|- HTML
|- ...

Hi Michael,
browsing the web I've found a very 'simple way'
(http://www.pro-linux.de/news/2002/4764.html) to login automatically.
Just install "rungetty" and change one line in inittab.
Change "1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 115200 tty1"
into "1:2345:respawn:/sbin/rungetty tty1 -u root -- login -f ds

What path should the html files go into?
Using 6.5b1 server, and IRBlaster_06_02_16_v33.zi
Sorry if this has been asked. I could not see today's date shown in the
