I noticed that when I tried to listen to some internet-streams from work
through an ssh-tunnel to my home server, that it did not work in some
cases. Enabling logging indicated that softsqueeze had support for the
stream and that direct connection would be used. Since the corporate FW
blocks prett
just to make it clear. slimserver was not up and running after 10min. I
terminated slimserver (kill - TERM ..). Because >10min has 0% WAF ;).
the mysql version is

I would need some help getting the Execute.pm to work.

The problem could be related to the mysql version
Downloaded the recent 6.5 BottleRocket.pm, and just wanted to report
that it works like a charm. The web interface is a big improvement to
configuring it by editing the source code, but most importantly, it

Trying to spawn a command shell window doesn't sound like the best test
to me -- too many odd dependencies, Windows security settings, etc.
One thing to do is check the access timestamp on test.bat and see if it
is updated when Execute.pm says it's running the command. With Cygwin or

Greg, I found a small bug in v0.6.7 (running with the 10/22/06 6.5.1
nightly). Basically the code dies if at server startup time there's no
client connected to the server. And when it dies it takes the server
with it...

Thanks for your reply.
Based on your suggestion I make a small cmd file to create a new
folder. Unfortunately, the result is the same: it executes fine when I
double click on the cmd file. However, when I run the script from
Softsqueeze the OSD only tells me running script
.. test.cmd, b

The Artist (top left) displays correctly on my SB3 for mp3s, but not for
wmas. I know that my wmas have the Artist and Album Artist tags
populated. I only get NOW PLAYING in the Artist position for wmas, while
I see the Artist's Name in the Artist position for mp3s.
