Open a command prompt window. Assuming a standard insytallation CD to the Slimserver BIN directory C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\ In this directory there should be mplayer.exe. Run mplayer without any parameters and see if it puts a banner and help message.

First make sure that you downloaded the right version of AlienBBC. there is one for SlimServer 6.5 and a different one for SS 6.2 or 6.3. That's the commonest error. If you are sure you have the right version, make sure that you have the folder Alien inside the Plugins subfolder of the
