Fantastic little tool! I'm sure to win some brownie points with a few
well-placed little messages! Thanks for your efforts, Michael.
Seriously, I could see where in the not-too-distant future something
like this would replace the venerable fridge-note. Hey, that makes me
think. I don't do tex

Using guidance under http://tinyurl.com/24bfzm I came across a problem
using the build-perl-modules.pl under Install SlimServer.
This will probably be obvious to most users but its taken me a few
hours to sus out the above command needs to be edited to be looking for

Hi all,
I've just uploaded a refresh of my Magnatune plugin for SlimServer. If
you've not tried it before, this plugin gives you access to the entire
Magnatune catalogue directly from your Squeezebox.
The main changes for this second release are some fixes to the web
interface for SlimServer 6.5
And from what I see:

Shows you are listening and scrobbling fine.
So I guess yours posted.

Well, mine was scrobbling fine until 4 or so hours ago, but then it
stopped. Since I didnt change anything, my guess is that is a last.fm
submission burp. The status page says they are now accepting
submissions but it also shows today as the last update to that page...

Just out of curiousity, is there a newer version, or a place where slimfx
development versions are being posted that people can try? I looked through
the message board and didn't see anything.

Please do!
Few lines of code? Small is beautiful! ;-)

I was just about to post a similar message. I second the notion. This is
a great plugin, and it would be amazing if there was a way to assign
different RSS feeds to separate screensavers. And thanks Peter, for a
truly useful plugin.

What are you running on Vista: the server or the client? Or both?

LastFM is often unavailable over the weekends but if you've never been
able to scrobble anything from the plugin, you'll need to enable the
debugging (I think just the --d_plugins flag is required) and check your
SlimServer log file after playing some songs.

It's cached. You can define the expiry time on line 8:
my $updateInterval = 15;
Honestly, now that I'm looking at that code, I do not even know whether
this means "15 seconds" or "refresh every 15th call" (which might be 15
seconds i
