Thanks for the summary - that helps a lot. It might be useful to copy some of
that extra information into your TrackStat wiki page for others that are
interested in syncing stats with iTunes.
In contrast to the other options, TrackStat has a path and extension
mapping mechanism which makes it

I think the log mode now also supports to write a changed rating on a

Oh - I think I have a *very* old version of MusicInfoSCR. I'll check how
it's done in the latest version, maybe that will help.
I may not be able to fix this though as the current version of the
plugin is quite different, and it won't be a simple change.

That's just the thing, there's a specific stream-only player where I
don't want SlimScrobbler to be enabled. I *think* I solved it by

Unfortunately StockQuotes.pm doesnt seem to work anymore with 6.5.4 and
6.5.5 :-(
The output I get is: (-,) and (1 of 0)
The symbols I entered are correct, and I get the same output when I use
the values initialy set in stockquotes.pm
Anything I missed?

Ok, I've answered my own question (with a bit of sleep!).
System.Xml is a microsoft thing.
I used the shotgun approach and:
apt-get install libmono-microsoft-build2.0-cil libmono-microsoft7.0-cil
libmono-microsoft8.0-cil
Did the trick :-)
Now I get
# /usr/sbin/InguzDSP
Usage: InguzDSP -id

Yes I did, after migrating from 64 bits to 32 bits debian everyting
works fine.. :)

Mmmm. My file server has an Intel Celeron D processor (64 bit).
Are you sure it was the number of bits that was the problem, not
something to do with the installation process?

Unless you're going short ;-)
Seriously though... it doesn't look like anything's broken on the
Yahoo! side. (See _'this_link'
Can you run slimserver with the --d_source option and see what happens?
The output should have (lots of) info about how the transcoder processes
are being called.

Yep, stopped SlimServer, changed plugin_scrobbler_enabled to 0 for the
correct player. Started SlimServer. So far everything is OK, but once I
connect with the player, plugin_scrobbler_enabled turns to 1 again.

Hi all,
I recently received a QNAP TS-109 with Slimserver pre-installed (from
Ripcaster in the UK), which all works nicely. It also came
pre-installed with a bunch of plugins, and I've no idea what most of
them do despite trying some searches. I'm guessing that some of them
are not relevant to

Michael,
I guess this is another example of Windows insecurity...
But I entered the ip addresses for the servers manually, and your

The link you gave me creates a suitable CSV file, yes.
I dont have a 6.5.3 version, but I used to have installed the nightly
builds of 6.5.4 and it worked so far.
A few days ago I installed the official 6.5.4 and that was the end of
StockQuotes. Tried then with nightly build 6.5.5, same result.
Hugh,
I don't have a mic, but I have an SPL meter. Although the meter is
cheap, I believe it has been calibrated.

got data with and without equaliser (obviously, I'm looking for a flat

Nothing is in the logs with plugins and server in debug mode.

I'm not familiar with what StockQuotes.pm offers, but SuperDateTime

didn't work and just introduced a whole bundle of phase anomolies as

For a start, SlimServer ignores .m4p files from its scan.

iTunes likes to be in control of the music files - using it any other
